  • I had a truly wonderful experience receiving lactation support from Kayla. She was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. She made me feel supported and confident during a time that can feel overwhelming and isolating. Her guidance was thoughtful and personalized, and I’m so grateful for her help. Because of her help I have had a fulfilling and 18month+ long journey breastfeeding my little one. I highly recommend Kayla to anyone needing lactation support!

  • Kayla is such a kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic IBCLC. I worked with Kayla when I was 6 weeks postpartum with my son. At the time we were both struggling with breastfeeding... we were getting by but it was by no means enjoyable nor efficient. Kayla listened to my goals with no judgement. After our hour and a half appointment she wrote up a thorough breastfeeding plan that met my family's goals and needs. For a couple weeks after our visit she was also available for questions and would regularly check-in. During these two weeks my breastfeeding journey completely changed. At that 6 week mark I was ready to give up but with Kayla's knowledge and support I'm still going today and feel proud of the journey.

  • Kayla is absolutely amazing! Our breastfeeding journey started off rocky, lots of issues with latching, tongue and lip tie, triple feeding with weight gain issues. And more. We reached out to Kayla desperate for help. She came to our home, provided so much information to my husband and I, provided us with resources, and was such a wonderful resource to us through all the obstacles we faced over the many weeks! She came back out to help make sure we were on the right track after the tongue and lip tie release! I cannot say enough good things about her and the work she does! She is so responsive even with questions after working with her! She is an incredible wealth of knowledge in all things feeding your baby! Not just breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, and body work!

  • Before seeing Kayla, I saw four lactation consultants and never felt like I was being heard. I didn’t think my breastfeeding journey was going to be successful. Kayla was the first IBCLC who listened and cared, and spent enough time with me to actually understand what was going on and offer solutions. I had been nursing with a nipple shield for 6 weeks and was able to stop using it the same day as our first appointment. Kayla stayed in communication with me and made sure things were going well. When I ran into more issues I was able to schedule a follow up and be seen quickly. Being seen in my own home was a huge plus during those difficult weeks as well. I highly recommend Kayla to anyone who is looking for an IBCLC!

  • Kayla was so amazing. She was very kind and listened to my concerns and explained everything very thoroughly. She also was diligent in her follow up. She created a personalized plan that ensured my breastfeeding journey would be successful. I can’t thank her enough!! I would recommend anyone who plans to breastfeed to meet with Kayla before and after the baby is born. She is a wealth of knowledge.

  • Nursing my 6 month old son as I write this review, when I truly didn’t think we’d make it past 3 weeks on our breastfeeding journey! Kayla’s support, kindness, encouragement, and expertise was so valuable to me in those early challenging weeks. She was thorough and really tailored her plan to our specific needs. Her in home support and follow up was great as well. Highly recommend Kayla!

  • I highly recommend working with Kayla for any and all lactation needs! She is a skilled clinician and a kind human being.I met with her prenatally before my second baby to review positioning, be fit for correct flanges, and to discuss my concerns leftover from my first child/IBCLC experience. We met again in my home 3 days post birth so she could assess my little one and do a weighted feed. She found that my daughter may have some oral restrictions and got us started with some exercises. She helped guide us to different options for bodywork (craniosacral therapy) as well as pediatric dentists to be assessed for a tongue tie to further support our breastfeeding journey. She talked through and showed us how to manage exercises/stretches post tie release. Both the PT and pediatric dentist we saw were impressed by Kayla's thorough assessment of our little one and the amount of education she gave us ahead of time. I really appreciated how she listened to me, how we collaborated on a care plan, and that she didn't just "wait and see"/dismiss my concerns like the previous IBCLC we saw. Her care, and the knowledge and resources she gave us set us up for breastfeeding success. I am forever grateful for her!
