Kayla Roth
RN, BSN, IBCLC
My approach as an IBCLC is rooted in compassion, empowerment, and a deep understanding of how birth experiences can impact a feeding journey.
I have worked as a nurse before, during, and after birth for over 12 years and have been supporting families with lactation for more than a decade with the last two years working as a community IBCLC. I have specialized training in assessment and management of tongue ties and infant oral habilitation and value collaboration with a team of providers.
Other areas of lactation interest include low milk supply, chronic mastitis, gut health, herbs, bodywork, exclusive pumping & proper flange fit. I am always learning more to help families navigate a wide range of breastfeeding challenges in a world full of information overload.
I believe pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period are sacred transitions. It is an honor to care for families in their homes, walk alongside them during this season and encourage them to keep tuning into their own intuition.
My aim is always to provide gentle, respectful care where you are heard, informed, and empowered.
Care with me is thorough, holistic and focused on the unique dyad in front of me.
Breastfeeding can be beautiful, but it is also a journey that often comes with unexpected challenges. My own feeding journey required more equipment for my medically complex baby than I ever could have imagined. If feeding looks different than you hoped it would, I see you, and I am here to support your goals without judgment.
